BetterThanBlank: A New Look

I installed a new theme for all you RSSer’s. Come on by and check it out!

I got the idea from my good friend Vince, who just installed a new theme the other day. I totally got this theme from the same place he got his. Thanks Vinnie.

  7. Hey,
Maybe I’m showing my cultural ignorance here, but ….
    what is a “renaissance” pastor?

  8. Fred, I look it as kind of a “jack of all trades”. Many people want to put me in a box of this title or that title, but I don’t fit well. Here’s a little definition for wikipedia:

When someone is called a Renaissance Man today, it is meant that he does not just have broad interests or a superficial knowledge of several fields, but rather that his knowledge is profound, and often that he also has proficiency or accomplishments[6] in (at least some of) these fields, and in some cases even at a level comparable to the proficiency or the accomplishments of an expert.

Now – I’m striving to be that kind of person. I want to be profound, yet teachable, an expert, but humble. Does that make sense?

  9. Alex,
Yep. So, I’m a full time Worship Director, own a production company, a publishing company, operate highestpraise.com (which rarely has been updated in years, sadly), theworshipcommunity.com, operate multiple e-biz websites, including PowerSeller on Ebay and Amazon, Head a non-profit and a real estate holdings LLC (with a grand total of one property). Does that make me a “renaisaance” man, or an idiot? (hahah)

  10. Fred, I think they have small padded rooms for people like you! ;)

  11. I don’t know the middle column feels a little fat. But I like how clean it is.
