the life of a renaissance pastor
This election was pretty interesting, especially in the use of social media/web 2.0. I think one of the coolest things about what has happened over the past few years is the web has brought us closer to the action - inviting us to participate more. Some would argue that social media has caused us to [...]
Many of you (337 to be exact) follow me on Twitter. Many of you don’t. For those who don’t, let me just say you are missing out! Twitter has been called a ‘micro-blog’ - it’s 140 character updates. What you’re doing, funny sightings, information sharing, etc. It’s alive, and just another great way to be [...]
I’m sick of seeing this:
Is it just me or does it seems like Twitter goes down once a day? Anyway, check this out to kill some time until Twitter is back up.
Here are some fun things to do with Twitter. (If you are saying right now, “what is twitter?”, then go watch this video.)
1. TwitterWheel. This site takes all your twitter friends and displays them so you can see who of your friends are friends with each other. ht: wfyoung3
2. Twittervision. This site is a world [...]
I twitter, so do a lot of people. I won’t explain because this video does such a good job doing just that.
Thank you Bobby for the link.

Yes, I’ve been twittering for a while now - lately I’ve got back into it again after downloading twitterific, which by the way is a supercool little ap. Twitter is yet another social networking tool/site. It allows you to update your status, ex: “stuck in another long staff meeting”, or “getting a ticket for [...]
My name is Alex McLean and I am currently the executive pastor at LifeChurch in the Temecula Valley of Southern California. I have been a youth pastor and worship leader, as well as a media / communications pastor so I am into all kinds of things creative.
At the core, I am just a guy who is trying to live in community, and live life - not let it happen. I try and stay real and teachable, humble if I can say that. That is really one of the reasons I blog, is to share my experiences in life and learn from others.
God has blessed me with more than I deserve and I am so thankful for that. A beautiful wife and two incredible children. More friends and family than you can shake a stick at and just an amazing life that I am allowed to enjoy and or struggle with every day.
