Derek Webb: Modern Day Prophet
In the Old Testament the prophets were known for drawing the people back to the essential truth of God. They were mostly ignored and often hated. I believe that Derek Webb is a prophet of our time. His last album Mockingbird was designed to ask questions about what Jesus is really calling His followers to in the 21st century. One song that really stands out is A New Law.
