Is God on Your Schedule?
Our Student Ministries Pastor wrote a great post on our church blog. I loved this quote:
Pastor’s that fit God into their schedule instead of fitting their lives into God’s schedule, are a train wreck waiting to happen.
I think this is a powerful statement. And I think that many, many pastors and leaders fall into this trap. Someone once said, or told me, that rather than power our way through life like a powerboat, we need to be like sailboats and put up our sails and catch the “wind” of what God is doing – then he will take us where he wants.
