Kirkpatrick, Beeman, Verkade, McLean & Co.
Yesterday (Thursday), we hooked up with the mighty Kirkpatrick at Wahoo’s in Temecula. He brought his gang – we brought ours, it had all the makings of a great showdown. I think if it came to fisticuffs they would have won, but it would have been a good fight (I’m pretty squirrly for a little scotsman), and now that Eric is a triathlete you don’t want to mess with him.
But rather than rumble, we enjoyed some great mexican cuisine and talked life, music, ministry, etc. It was great to finally get face to face with a fellow blogger, and it’s great to build unity in the local body of Christ. I can’t wait to see how this valley will be blessed with the addition of a new worship leader with fresh vision and leadership.
And I’m sure we will meet again, and next time I’ll bring bigger friends (just in case!).
