Most Resourceful Blog o’ the Week
I’ve been reading Behind the Leaf for a few months now. It’s the behind the scenes blog from Oak Leaf Church in Georgia. I’m jealous. They seem to have it all together. If you are a medium size church (like us) who are trying to work systems into place, learn what’s working, what’s not, get good free samples & resources, and networks, then you need to be reading this blog.
I was especially impressed with their “First Time Giver” letter. What a great idea to send a letter to a first time giver – it immediately disarms them and tells them “we really care about being good stewards of finances”. We are in the process of implementing this right now. Thank you guys.
