I hate this. I tend to leave my strings a little longer to avoid the thumb-poke.
ouch… this is why I prefer leading from my piano
Makes you feel like a hard rocker when you bleed for your music.
oh totally! especially when restringing.
ugghhhhhh……..
Yea, to many times.
Ouch!!! I hate it when that happens! It feels like it’s going all the way to the bone!
I know you just wanted to give the Takamine some props with that photo… don’t kid yourself…
Define ‘regular,’ like every time you restring? YES!
I’m so glad you posted this, I feel ‘normal!’
Yeah Eric I’m still stoked about the Takamine – still holding out while everyone jumps aboard the Taylor train. I will admit that Travis’ and Rob Coblentz’s 700 series sound great, but who has that kind of cash?
And yes, I do this almost every time I change strings even though I try my darndest not to! GRRRRRRR!
Aye!
Far more often than I’d like to admit.
