Politics

I’m not really big into politics. My personal view is that I’d rather spend my energy reaching people for Christ and building relationships. I know, that’s not super deep or patriotic, but it’s where I am now. Don’t get me wrong, I love our country, our freedoms, our history, and especially our armed forces protecting them, ht: Chris.

Anywhoo, I’m also not really into evolution vs. creation, but I thought this was pretty powerful:

I feel the same way. Christ gave us a job to do here. More and more, I’m realizing the vital importance to stick to it… . I understand I should pray for our government in the meantime.

That’s very interesting to bring up at a presidential debate. I think really the question is, “Are you allowing God to be in the school system?” or more specifically, is this going to be a guy that will allow the Pledge of Allegiance in the school. Just an interesting way to hint around it.

I don’t know. Just one way to look at it I guess. Having a Minister as a President aught to be interesting.

yeah that video is the bomb. he answers the question with wisdom. i agree with you bro, you really have to be careful because God loves all people, liberals and conservatives. i would rather love them and win them then argue with them. that being said i love the lyrics to this Derek Webb song “my first allegiance is not to a flag, a country or a man, my first allegiance is not to democracy or blood, its to a king and a kingdom”. we should still vote but the government can never solve all of our problems.
