Pray.

I’ve been inspired by people such as Billy, Los, & Ann, to do this and today is the day when I move from thinking about it to doing it. I’ll probably get into a habit of doing this and pick a better day than Saturday to post. I’m going to spend about an hour today just praying for you. Yeah, you, whoever you are.

Two ways to participate:

  1. Leave a comment and I will pray for you specifially.
  2. Pray with me for the requests that come in.

Here’s a few things I’m already going to focus on that you might want to be praying for as well:

  1. Steve Eller’s family in Louisianna
  2. Billy Chia & his church
  3. The Joy twins
  4. The Vanderberg’s adoption journey

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,

21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

    hey, you can please pray for my church, conVerge church. we are planting in Richmond and in transition. pray that new leadership will rise up and be the church here at the original plant. pray that i will be able to train up a new worship team. pray that all of us will stay humble and dependent on God to build his church.

    this is so cool.

    brent, the kids and i have just laid everything out before the Lord. we’re willing and ready to go where He says go…if He chooses to move us. He’s stretching us even now…we’re in a place of surrender…and honestly, we’ve been a bit queezy from time to time over it - but we know His will is SO much better!
