U2: Coming Soon to a Theater Near You?

That’s right it’s U2 in 3d (quite a clever marketing scheme). I’ve never been a big fan of 3d (gives me headaches), but I would endure it for a u2 movie. And, I’m not sure exactly how/where to catch this, but I sure want to! Here’s the U2 site info, and I am still researching more info. If you know anything about this, let me know please.

Yeah, I’ve never been a HUGE fan of 3D but it’s been growing on me. Apparently though it’s the way theaters are headed so we need to get used to it :)

    Found this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U2_3D

It comes out on Jan 25th, 2008.
“The film will be the first live-action film to be shot, edited, and shown entirely in 3-D”.
These guys are always on the cutting edge! I love it!

U2 isn’t the only band with a stereoscopic 3D music video… the indy rock band [golden] just released a 3D music video for their latest single that they are letting people view for free on their website:
    http://www.goldentheband.com/3d

The [golden] video was premiered in full color like the U2 3D movie, but to watch it on your computer you’re gonna need the colored glasses (which they are giving away).

Once you see the U2 3D movie, please post your comments and let us know if it gives you headaches. The guys who made it are using new techniques that are supposed to keep people from getting a headache.
