Wonder Why Hillsong Rocks?
I don’t know a lot about Hillsong & United. I do know that they Rock. And they’ve been rocking for a couple decades now. I’ve had a vision of raising up a generation of young people who aren’t afraid to be expressive in their worship. I don’t mean just clapping and singing, I mean just being free to worship however they are designed to worship. I’ve been brought up in a subdued environment and because of that I find it very hard to just let go and worship with all that I am. So today I was looking for some worship material for our Kids Ministry and stumbled across this… And I thought, no wonder!

Yeah, man, those videos rock… not only those but the kids CD’s too… It’s pretty cool that they model worship in that way. Although, I wonder what that does in progressing the concert mentality of worship… hmm… just thoughts going though my head.

Awesome to see kids being trained up in the way they should go. Rather than dancing to Stinkin’ Britney they’re dancing before the Lord.
Do agree with Victor in the sense that it can create a distorted mentality of worship however this is a praise song, so I’m yet to see them in Worship. I would certainly expect them to be taught that Worship isn’t a concert.
our kids department uses a lot of hillsong kids stuff. good call there.

I loved the kids who sat in the front row at One Voice. I’m not sure whose church they belonged to, but watching them totally cry out to God as loud as they could was AWESOME!! I wanted to join them in the front! I couldn’t stop smiling when I watched them jump around and I’m sure Jesus was smiling even bigger!! I want a passion that uninhibited like that!!
Flippin incredible!!!
@ Scott, totally agree with you!
