    Love it…

I had people greet one another after the first song just out of habit this last weekend and got reamed by our announcement lady because it screwed up her whole plan for announcements somehow. She later apologized, but it helped me realize the importance of pre-service communication and “sticking to the plan”.

I don’t think we realize the importance of communication and planning. It’s not my strength by any means, but I’m learning. I think I just enjoy flying by the seat of my pants too much… not always a good thing. In fact, I’m not sure it’s ever a really good thing!

wow, great confessional. it is so good to know that we aren’t the only ones dealing with this kind of stuff. thanks for being so real, and not taking yourselves to seriously.

Yeah I don’t really want to say, “It’s really cool to watch you guys when you’re all frustrated.” but, wait… oh yes that’s exactly what I want to say.

So you were a little off one day. Most of the time the congregation doesn’t know anything went wrong unless you mention it. You don’t see anyone else up there doing it, right? Don’t be hard on yourself Alex!
I appreciate the music, the voices and the worship time. You are all great!

    Thanks,
    Karen
